TRANSCENDENCE ACADEMY
Welcome to the Transcendence Academy, where we stand behind, recognize, and celebrate the incredible journey of middle school and high school girls who are breaking through barriers, nurturing their talents, and showcasing unwavering character in both school and life.
Our approach is all about building a sisterhood, where these remarkable young individuals are guided by our dedicated program staff to share their growth stories, forging bonds that last a lifetime. Founded in 2021 and led by our committed team, we’ve already witnessed tremendous growth, with a remarkable 20% enrollment from girls and young women.
Transcendence Academy offers a holistic support system, including academic assistance, enriching group sessions focused on emotional and social well-being, immersive retreats, an empowering leadership conference, and a unique online curriculum. This six-course component covers essential topics such as:
- The value of women’s education
- Active listening
- Problem-solving
- Conflict resolution
- Fostering healthy relationships
- Emotional well-being, self-confidence
- Leadership skills
- Responsible decision-making
- Promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Our approach is grounded in the latest youth development research, which underscores the importance of sequential, active, focused, and explicit skills development (referencing “The Impact of After-School Programs That Promote Personal and Social Skills” by Durlak et al., 2007).
For our dedicated participants, those who regularly engage in our “sisterhood” circle of hearts through small-group mentorship sessions, complete the course requirements, and uphold the high standards of Transcendence Academy, we have a special celebration in store. At our Crossover Mission End-of-Year Banquet and Awards Celebration, held every May, these incredible young women will have the opportunity to choose their crown as a symbol of their remarkable journey with us.
