TRANSCENDENCE ACADEMY

Welcome to Transcendence Academy, where we stand behind, recognize, and celebrate the journey of middle school and high school girls who are breaking through barriers, nurturing their talents, and displaying character in school and life.

Our approach is centered on building a sisterhood, where these remarkable young women are guided by our dedicated program staff to share their growth stories, forging bonds that last a lifetime. Founded in 2021 and led by a committed team of staff members and volunteer mentors, we’ve already witnessed tremendous growth as girls and young women now account for 20% of Crossover’s overall enrollment. 

Transcendence Academy offers a holistic support system, including academic assistance, enriching group sessions focused on emotional and social well-being, immersive retreats, an empowering leadership conference, and a unique online curriculum. This six-course component covers essential topics such as:

• The value of women’s education
• Active listening
• Problem-solving
• Conflict resolution
• Fostering healthy relationships
• Emotional well-being & self-confidence
• Leadership skills
• Responsible decision making
• Promoting a healthy lifestyle

Our approach is grounded in the latest youth development research, underscoring the importance of sequential, active, focused, and explicit skills development (“The Impact of After-School Programs That Promote Personal and Social Skills” by Durlak et al., 2007).
