Undefeated: Crossover Girls Capture Championship at One of the Nation’s Premier Basketball Tournaments

Champions on the court. Leaders in the making. Watch highlights from the Crossover Girls’ Division Championship at Balling on the Beach, one of the nation’s premier youth basketball tournaments.

Undefeated.

It’s a word that has come to define the Crossover Mission Girls Basketball Team this season.

Over Father’s Day weekend, the team captured the Division Championship at the prestigious Balling on the Beach tournament in Fort Lauderdale, remaining undefeated with a 16-0 record this season and an outstanding 34-1 record over the past two seasons.

Balling on the Beach is recognized as one of the nation’s premier grassroots youth basketball tournaments, bringing together more than 750 teams and thousands of student-athletes from across the country. Competing against elite talent in this environment provides invaluable experience while showcasing the dedication and growth of Crossover’s student-athletes.

Winning a division championship on this stage is a remarkable accomplishment, but those closest to the program know the success didn’t happen overnight. It is the result of countless hours of practice, a commitment to personal growth, and a team culture built on discipline, accountability, resilience, and trust.

At Crossover Mission, athletics are about more than competition. Basketball provides a platform to develop confidence, leadership, perseverance, and character—qualities that prepare young people for success both on and off the court.

While the championship is worth celebrating, the team’s focus remains unchanged. They continue to practice with purpose, compete with humility, and support one another as they pursue an exceptional season.
