THIS YEAR’S SUMMER CAMP WILL REVOLVE AROUND A
MOCK PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL DRAFT!

Get ready for an action-packed and fun-filled summer at Crossover’s Center for Excellence! Our summer camp is designed to engage and excite campers with a unique blend of basketball training and enriching activities. This year, campers will dive into the thrilling world of professional basketball through our Mock Professional Basketball Draft theme.

Campers will enjoy daily basketball training to hone their skills on the court and prepare for the draft. They’ll immerse themselves in the world of professional basketball by creating highlight footage, participating in mock interviews, planning their professional wardrobe, and writing their acceptance speeches.

In addition to the exciting on-court activities, we will offer field trips 1-2 times per week for additional enrichment. These trips will provide campers with new experiences and fun adventures, making each week a memorable one.

Weekly Schedule:

Week 1: Player Intro Videos/Photos – Campers will kick off by creating their player profiles with intro videos and photos.

Week 2: Prepare Draft Speeches – They’ll draft their acceptance speeches, preparing for their big moment.

Week 3: Mock Interviews – Practice mock interviews to simulate the real-life experience of being drafted.

Week 4: Wardrobe Prep – Plan and prepare their professional wardrobe for the draft day.

Week 5: Thank You Letters – Campers will write thank you letters, reflecting on their journey and growth.
