QUOTE: “I can make more memories here (at Crossover) and teach my future family what I have become.
Euton began his journey with Crossover Mission in elementary school, where he first experienced the joy of playing sports alongside other kids. Living with cerebral palsy, Euton faced challenges that made many activities difficult, but Crossover became a supportive environment that changed everything. When he first began the program, he wore a leg brace and struggled to run more than three steps without falling down. Now, he runs the distance of the court without hesitation or a brace. Despite challenges with left side agility, Coach Antoine helped Euton learn to dribble with his left hand by keeping his right behind his back and thus breaking barriers that doctors thought would never be crossed.
Now 16 years old and enrolled in Crossover’s Independent Study Program, Euton is earning A’s and B’s and seizes every opportunity to be on the court. His dedication was evident last summer when he achieved the most pull-ups of all the kids in his group. Beyond academics and athletics, Euton regularly volunteers with his Crossover peers at a local soup kitchen, demonstrating his commitment to giving back. Always smiling and exuding confidence, Euton is a shining example of resilience and determination, inspiring those around him with his enthusiastic spirit.
