Celebrating a Decade of Impact:
Crossover Mission’s 10-Year Anniversary Alumni Game!

We are thrilled to share the highlights of a monumental event for Crossover Mission—our 10-Year Anniversary Alumni Game! This special game, held recently, was not just a reunion but a powerful reminder of the community and support that Crossover Mission represents.

Our alumni, once young boys with big dreams, have grown into remarkable men who continue to inspire. Team AJ faced off against Team Louis, representing the heart and soul of why Crossover exists. AJ (son of Co-Foudner Antoine Jennings) and Louis (son of Co-Founder Cathy DeSchouwer), the two young men who were the driving force behind our inception, returned home, and their presence made this reunion extraordinarily meaningful.

The joy and excitement in the air were palpable as family and friends gathered to witness this thrilling, closely contested game. Under the officiating of Crossover’s Head Coach, Antoine Jennings, the game showcased not just the athletic prowess but also the enduring bonds formed through Crossover.

The final score was 41 to 46, but the true victory was in the smiles, the shared memories, and the inspiration it sparked in staff, volunteers, and most of all, our current student athletes. Seeing our alumni return and reconnect with our younger kids was a powerful reminder that Crossover is, and always will be, a forever home for its student athletes.

As we look back on this incredible reunion, we are filled with pride and gratitude for the journey we’ve been on. But the celebration doesn’t end here! Mark your calendars for our next reunion at the December 5 Gala, where we will continue to celebrate the remarkable progress and achievements of our Crossover family.
